Teriyaki Steak Skillet

An easy Asian-inspired dish for dinner tonight!

Ingredients

Amount Measurement Ingredient
1 Tbsp oil
1 lb. boneless beef sirloin steak, cut into strips
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 1/2 cups water
1/3 cup light teriyaki sauce
2 cups Minute® Brown Rice or Minute® White Rice, uncooked
4 cups small broccoli florets
1 large red bell pepper, cut into strips

Directions

  • HEAT oil in a large skillet on high heat. Add steak and garlic; cook and stir 5 minutes or until steak is cooked through (160ºF).
  • ADD water and the teriyaki sauce; stir. Bring to boil. Stir in rice, broccoli and red peppers. Return to boil. Reduce heat to low; cover. Simmer 5 minutes. Remove from heat.
  • LET stand 5 minutes. Fluff with fork.
